Independent marine and cargo surveyor with more than 20 years of experience.

Commodity inspections for cargoes such as grains, oilseeds, oilseed meals, vegetable oils, iron ore, pellets, concentrates, fertilizers, aluminium and steel products.

Technical inspections including ships condition surveys, draught surveys, bunker surveys and maritime investigations.

Professional background includes inspections across Black Sea ports such as Odessa, Chernomorsk, Yuzhny, Mariupol, Nikolayev and Kherson, as well as Danube ports including Izmail, Reni, Giurgiulesti and various European ports.

Currently based in Constanta, Romania, and available for inspections in Romania, Bulgaria and Moldova. Other European ports can also be considered upon request.

Grain Cargo

Inspection, sampling and supervision of grain cargoes, including wheat, barley, corn and other bulk agricultural commodities, in accordance with GAFTA rules.


Vegetable Oils

Inspections, ullages of the ship's tanks and shore tanks, sampling and supervision of vegetable oils, including sunflower seed oil, rapeseed oil, olive oil, palm oil, palm olein, palm stearin, coconut oil and other edible oils, in accordance with FOSFA rules.


Petroleum Products

Quantity measurements, sampling and inspections of petroleum products, including diesel, gasoline and other refined products, in accordance with API / ASTM standards.


Steel Products

Pre-shipment inspections, loading supervision, stowage control and lashing inspections.


Tally Count

Organization of tally count for steel products, bagged cargoes and general cargoes.


Cargo Holds Inspections

Inspections of cargo holds for cleanliness and suitability for loading of the intended bulk cargo.


Cargo Tanks Inspections

Inspections of cargo tanks for cleanliness and suitability for loading of the intended liquid cargo.


Hatch Covers Inspections

Inspections of vessels weather deck openings for visual apparent condition and ultrasonic testing for watertight integrity.


Draught Survey

Calculations of loaded or discharged cargo quantity by draught survey.


Sealing of Hatch Covers

Sealing of hatch covers in order to protect the shipowners and cargo interests against shortage-related risks.


Bunker Survey

Calculation of bunker quantities on board the vessel, on-hire bunker survey, off-hire bunker survey, bunker survey during bunkering operations along with taking samples of bunkered fuel oil or diesel oil, bunker-related investigations.


On-Hire Condition Survey

On-hire ispections of the vessels on delivery of into charter or off-hire inspections on re-delivery back to owners.


Stock Inspections

Inspections of various kinds of cargoes at the storage facilities and warehouses in order to confirm the presence, apparent condition and declared quantities.


Monitorings

Monitoring of loading and discharging operations of bulk cargoes, including grains, fertilisers, sulphur, iron ore concentrate, iron ore pellets, etc., for compliance with transshipment conditions


Project Cargo Inspections

Inspection and supervision of project cargo, including wind turbine components, vehicles and trucks, heavy machinery, packaged cargoes for visual apparent condition, and compliance with lashing and securing requirements.


Perishable Cargoes

Inspections of perishable cargoes including bananas, fruits, fish, meat and other frozen products shipped in containers.


Ships Condition Surveys

Condition surveys of vessels on behalf of P&I Clubs, insurers, owners or charterers in accordance with the recommended Clubs forms or with the agreed check list.


Damage Surveys

Damage surveys, collecting evidences, investigations of maritime incidents, including collisions, cargo damage, oil spills, groundings, ballast water issues and damage to shore facilities.
